I’m biracial and don’t identify as white because I’m not typically white passing (but sometimes am idk) and will often refer to “white people” as a group separate from myself. When I make comments about stuff white people have done or said one of my friends sometimes gets irritated? with me and will say “but you’re half white” or “you’re not even that asian” and it bothers me a lot because they’re literally annoyed with me for choosing not to identify with whiteness.
